verdict: it's aight
my friend got married and i was one of her bridesmaids. i wanted to get her strippers for her bridal shower, but she opted for a classier celebration...darn? darn for who?!
we settled on a tea party at the tea rose garden for our classy bride. we should have checked out the place first though because it turned out that their quarters are a bit tight. in order to maximize space, they place their tables and chairs quite close together. since our party was small and cozy, it did not warrant us reserving a space outside...maybe that might have been the better choice?
once squeezed into our spots, we had some wonderful eats. i recommend the almond chicken finger sandwich. that went pretty quick. the spicy salmon templer and the cucumber sandwiches were alright. and scones...yum! pick the cranberry-orange, lemon-blueberry, or chocolate...and then wash all that cream cheese and butter down with a chilled lemon mango punch or darjeeling...earl grey is nice too.
our tables were placed so close together with our neighbors that they had a pretty good view of all her skankalicious lingerie and adult themed gifts. perhaps a classy bride with naughty friends was a bit too risque for this tea room? perhaps....
sandwiches, scones, and tea oh my!
